Lighting Tools
Basic Information and Specifications:
- 12 Vibrant Colors
- 3 Light Intensities
- Glow (windlight)
- Lock with Access List
- Permissions: NO COPY | NO MODIFY | TRANSFER
- See Signs for each products prim count
- Scripts MUST be ON to operate lighting and menus
- Nearby Local Lighting needs to be ON to view lights
- To do this go to: ( EDIT > PREFERENCES > GRAPHICS DETAIL ) and select ON for local lighting
- Avoid using the "mid-day" world setting, it can wash out local lighting and make colors hard to see
Multiple Products within the same Area:
- The lighting products from CW Studios uses a specialized method to avoiding channel "overlap" this mean you can have as many lights of the same kind in any amount of space! no limits!
- Light "Bleed" or color washing can occur from having to many lighting in one area. To avoid this have no more than 3 different color lights in a 10x10 area, unless you are going for specific color blends or hard lighting.
Lighting User Guide and Information:
Menu Controls
- Touch the ‘ON’ button to begin, a menu will drop down
- Choose either a lighting Intensity (low, normal, high) or a Permission option (Public, Private)
- If you chose an Intensity setting another menu will appear where you can choose the lighting color you wish to use then the lighting will be displayed
- If you chose Permissions, you can either "lock" or "unlock" the lighting for private or public use.
- To add approved users, add their name to the 'Access List' card. (see : adding users)
- Touching the ‘OFF’ button turns all lighting off
Adding Users (to the access list)
- right click on the lighting and select 'EDIT'
- the edit menu will appear
- 'check' the box 'Edit linked parts'
- now 'touch' the 'ON' button
- tab over to the 'Content' tab - you will see the contents of the 'ON' button
- open the 'Access Card' add names to your access list then save
Notes:
- the access list will update automatically when new users are added.
- if you do "remove" a user from the access list, make sure to relock your studio "private" this ensures the removed user can no longer use your light - only the owner can controls the "locking" of the light
