Lighted Image System
SETUP
1 - Rezz a 'CWS - Image Light System' from your inventory.
2 - Place it using the edit menu on a wall of you choice. Pay special attention to the 'shadow' of the object. Make sure it is lined up with the wall and not in the wall.
ADDING YOUR OWN TEXTURE
1 - After you have rezzed and placed the object it is time to add your own texture. Make sure your texture is at least mod/copy else you will lose a non copyable image from your inventory.
2- Now that you have your image selected there are many ways of adding it to the object. The one I use is a simple 'drag and drop'.With my inventory screen open I left click on the texture of my choice to select it, then holding my left mouse button on the texture I drag it from my inventory over to the objects 'image'. An arrow with a box will appear and then I release my mouse button.
note: the object is copy/mod so feel free to edit the frame and image of the object to the size and dimensions you want. In it's current state the texture size "512 x 1024" is used. OR if you already have the texture in SL youcan use the Texture Offset feature to center your image.
You can access this by :
1 - Right click > EDIT on the object
2 - Checking the box 'EDIT LINKED PARTS'
3 - Left clicking on the image part
4 - Click on the TEXTURE tab in the menu
5 - The offset menu is at the bottom
